Happy New Year to You All!
I hope you had a lovely festive time. Since coming back, I've been knee-deep in boxes, with my trusty supporters, Laura Park and Alina Ion, putting together creative planning packs for authors.
You may remember that in November I ran a Kickstarter campaign: Go Creative! Planning for Authors and Poets. It was successful beyond my wildest hopes for it (I'd aimed to raise £2K and ended up with more than £25K).
For a long time, this was just the system I use myself but in recent times I've been sharing it with a select band of authors. Now, with the help of my Kickstarter backers, I'll take it to as many authors as possible.
The last of the physical packs and bonuses dispatched this week, so it's back to fiction and poetry for me.
But first, of course, I took a stop-off for my own creative planning.
And guess what I found? 2024 is shaping up to be a great year, even more exciting than 2023.
Go Creative! Podcast I'm delighted to announce the launch of the weekly “Go Creative!” podcast, starting soon. This podcast is designed as a pep talk for creatives and creativists. If that's you, I hope to help keep you inspired and firmly on the conscious creation pathway. Each episode will be a blend of inspiration, practical advice, and insights into the creative process.
My First Novel in 7 Years Mid-year, I look forward to the launch of my first novel in seven years: A Life Before. This book holds a special place in my heart. It means publication at last for a project that has occupied my fiction brain forEVER, and is my biggest and most ambitious publication ever. I can't wait to share it with you.
Kickstarter Launch: Following on from the success of the launch for authors, I will now launch A Life Before on Kickstarter.
Accompanying the launch will be the “More than a Muse” project, a unique and interactive extension of the story world to celebrate the historical phenomena, Maud Gonne.
If you want to be part of the excitement, click “Notify Me on Launch” on my Kickstarter launch project here.
A Special Invitation for Those Visiting Ireland: If you live in Ireland, or you're planning a trip to Ireland this summer, save the date for an event I'm organizing around Yeats Summer School. More details soon.
This year is shaping up to be something. Thank you for being a part of my world, and here's to a year filled with your own creativity and new beginnings!
As always I love to hear from you on my contact page
