Women’s Fiction Festival Matera

I’m delighted to be attending the women’s fiction festival in Matera, Italy this year, when their theme is to be ‘Something Revolutionary. Words have always had the power to change the world.’

Which just about my life’s mission summed up in a sentence.

“Books can lead readers into another world entirely and books have revolutionized over the course of the centuries customs, power structures and cultural values,” they say.

The festival runs from Wed Sept 26th to Sunday 30th and it takes over the medieval town of Matera, with women’s fiction writers and readers.

2018 is the 50th anniversary of the events of 1968, which also ushered in the feminist revolution, “the organizers say.” The WFF will throw the spotlight on the most powerful revolutionary stories in contemporary literature.

And so say all of us.

Find out where I’ll be during the festival here and I’ll available for lots of their Ask A Pro sessions, where you can ask me anything about writing, publishing or running an indie author business.

I’m also delighted of course to take questions on my own writing: novels, poems and nonfiction.

If you enjoyed this post, please let me know on my Facebook page or via Twitter. And… if you have some likeminded friends, I’d love for you to share it with them. Thank you!
