Poem of the Week: Passing On

I mostly post my poetry first on Instagram, (unless it is a patron-exclusive poem).
Each Sunday, here on the blog I post the poem that has got the most Insta likes.
If you’re on Instagram, let’s follow each other. You’ll find my account Orna Ross.poetry here. And now for the poem.

This week's #micropoem is a stanza from a longer #poem, “Passing On”.

And if you find you need to cry
I ask that when you do,
you cry with all the others
passing through,
beside you,
along the street of need.
