We all very much appreciate your support for our campaign to honour Maud Gonne with a statue in Dublin. Please review the refund and returns policy below.
General
- No Refunds or Returns: Due to the nature of this Kickstarter campaign, we cannot offer refunds, or accept returns for any goods or services offered once your pledge is paid (outside of damages, cancellation, or other statutory rights). Contributions are final.
- We need to cancel: In the unlikely event that we are unable to proceed with events, for any reason, we will reschedule.
- You need to cancel: We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of attending special events. If you're unable to join us for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible, as a replacement will be necessary in order for you to receive a reimbursement. We’ll do our best to help or if you have someone in mind who can attend in your place, we’re happy to accept a replacement from you. However, while we’ll make every effort to assist, we cannot guarantee we will find someone on your behalf, and the responsibility ultimately lies with you to ensure your place is filled.
- Shipping and Duties: The cost of post and packaging is covered by your pledge. However, please be aware that any additional excise duties, customs fees, or taxes imposed upon receiving your reward are your responsibility. These charges vary by country, and we cannot cover or predict them.
- Travel Expenses: The organizers are not responsible for any travel expenses or payment charges incurred in attending the events.
Delivery and Shipping
Physical Rewards: All physical rewards (e.g., books, artworks) will be shipped in November 2024 by Royal Mail to an addresses specified by you in the survey distributed by Kickstarter in October 2024, or provided at the live event you're attending. We will provide tracking information for mailed goods, where possible.
Digital Rewards: Digital rewards (e.g., ebooks, memberships) will be delivered in November 2024 to an email address specified by you in the survey distributed by Kickstarter in October 2024.

Events Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your reservation for the creative retreat or launch of the Maud Gonne Society. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all parties involved. Please read the details below carefully.
General Cancellation Terms
- Notification of Cancellation: All cancellations must be communicated in writing to publications@ornaross.com.
- Substitutions: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person, provided we are notified in writing at least 14 days before the retreat start date. There is no fee for substitutions.
- Cancellation by Organizers: In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by the organisers due to unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule. We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred.
Specific Terms for The Retreat Award: Self-Accommodated
- Accommodation: This reward does not include accommodation. Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging.
Specific Terms for The Country House Retreat Reward
- Accommodation: This reward includes accommodation at Rosnaree House.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants purchase travel insurance to cover potential cancellations, delays, or other unforeseen issues.
By reserving your spot at the Creative Retreat at Rosnaree House, or the Maud Gonne Society launch, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this cancellation policy.
